Way to go Frank, thank you!!!

The problem revolves around degenerative arthritis in both legs. The condition is progressive and she seems to be out of options for one leg at this point aside from this operation and as soon as possible.

Hey Helga, what do you think? Like those Bikinis-From-Brazil fashions!

Thank you JP. Your donation and sentiment are very much appreciated! Also, thanks to the folks that have helped Mila get through this distressing time. The raffle wasn't a success but the individual generosity and well wishes are golden.

Thanks folks!!!

You folks are the best! When the chips are down, actions speak so much louder than words. Thank you for your donations from various parts of the world. This helps a lot to build back from the disappointment Mila felt from the unexpected canceling of the raffle and party.

I saw her tonight for the first time in several days. She was feeling better after being pretty down for a quite a while. She was recently fitted with a cane just to get around, before the operation. This is for Mila, the hard charging athletic marvel. That takes some getting used to along with overcoming the impact of shutting down much of the fundraiser. Her landlords dog even bit her today, cut pretty deep too, the damn mutt. Understand it's nailed a bunch of people too. This potentially could have put the operation on hold for a while due to fears over infection?! Can you imagine your focus is on this one event for months, to be able to move again, sleep properly, do your job without an overburden of pain? Thank God she went down and the doctors cleared her for surgery. Close one that. She looked stronger tonight, getting focused for the operation and rehab, feeling some natural apprehension.

Again, we want to express sincere thanks to one and all that have helped Mila in this very stressful time. Your concern and support have brought comfort, strength and help with the means to her to get through this.

If you can help, please do, regardless of the amount. It is comforting to see something good happen in these trying times for all of us, through giving. Thanks in advance!

I just had a call early this evening from Mila. I am amazed she is even calling so soon after the operation. She sounded super groggy but wanted to call anyway. She just wanted to say thanks for all the support. The hard work is about to start, the healing and rehab.

Thanks for the support out there. If you can help, it is still needed and if you have already, thank you again very much!
