Holy smokes kids, the East Coast was on fire today.

Sideshore winds, and swell from head high, to double overhead. With the wind direction, the swell was actually pretty clean. The outside breaks were double the distance of the Cocoa Beach pier to give you an idea of size.

Was great to see lots of Tampa folks over there. The Tampa crew really gets around and chases this sport. Great to see so many people really enjoying the fruits of Florida riding at its finest. Heard the keys were epic too.

I see reports of tomorrow being even bigger. Can't imagine.

Heard alot of gear got destroyed today. So much for surf tough construction. My kite took a serious beating, but came out in one piece. My friend wasn't so lucky.

These types of conditions don't happen very often and its only 2.5 hours away. I've said this before, I think central Florida offers some of the best riding conditions in the entire U.S.

Go get some!!!!

The last buoy reading is 13ft @ 17 seconds. That is 20 miles offshore in deep water.
