For the purpose of clarity, only the Sarasota Kiteboarders' Coaltion forum on the FKA site and our Facebook page are representative of and approved by the organizer who has initially represented the Coalition in negotiations with County staff.
We have established a positive track record of more than 12 years without significant incident or complaint involving the public and their enjoyment of Sarasota County beach Parks, and we will continue efforts to build on this.
Our Activity delights and enthralls other beach users, almost always, and we avoid interfering with the public's use and enjoyment of the beaches and adjacent waterfront.
We are uniquely proactive in our sport; each of us takes responsibility for his or her own actions and the actions of other kiters. If their behavior and practices may adversely affect their own safety or the safety of the public.
We support Public Safety employees (Lifeguards) and other law enforcement officers on Sarasota County Beach Parks and abide by Sarasota County Ordinances.
We are committed to practicing exemplary stewardship of the Sarasota County Beach Parks
