Thank you for visiting and supporting kiting access in Sarasota County, FL. Sometimes, clear communication and awareness
of areas of concern can send access issues into the past. Sarasota County is committed to preserving wildlife and in particular
threatened plovers. I believe kiting can readily be conducted in a way to support that goal. Here's to the rapid and favorable
resolution of these issues. With constructive thought, good communication and cooperation, I am sure we will get there.

Over to you ...

In the interest of trying to limit discussions here to the kiting community, forum access has been limited to logged in, registered users. If you are not logged in, the SKC forum will not be visible on the site. If you are, it will show up as always.

I am still confused as to why it was locked to only logged in members in the first place. Wouldn't one be wanting to raise awareness among kiters of the problems down there?
99% of the readers don't log in on this site, so wouldn't have been able to see it.

I'm also not clear on why there's 2 different SKC's with what seems to be a conflict between two retailers?

This whole "retailers involved in access thing" needs a bit of discussion, don't ya think? Its a conflict of interest.

BTW, not trying to stir the pot, just had my fill of unanswered emails.;)

I was asked to and so complied, for the rest, talk to the folks in Sarasota. Seems like they have secured things well with the authorities. Now it is up to kiters at large to ride by and promote the rules within Sarasota County.
