GoPro is all about camera mounts, they have a ton of them. Here are just two, including the helmet mount and chest harness. Both were shot with the lower resolution WIDE camera. I had spoken to a few kiters recently who had expressed interest in the chest harness. I use it all the time for scooter free diving along with another hand held camera. It is a bit closer to the spray than a helmet cam but lacks the sometimes excessive movement that comes with a camera mounted on your head.
Please excuse the arm hardware, temporary splints to deal with some messed up wrists. Found a better solution after I shot these videos, go out in winds strong enough for my smallest kite with very little bar pressure. Don't need the arm stuff in that case.

Some use Rainx or other preparation to help manage water spotting on the lens.
