The wind is coming back. I will be in the keys with the Otherside Boardsports all weekend. Sextton and Fox will be at Jupiter Kitebording on Saturday and Cocoa Beach with Good Breeze Kiteboarding Sunday. We will have all the latest 2010 gear from Slingshot so come and check it out and give it a ride.

Neil,

ASM is pulling off a late notice kite night this Friday at the shop. Feel free to stop by with your crew on the way to the keys to have a beer. If you have any SS DVD's, etc. bring them along. Let me know if you are coming so i can get MORE beer! Hope to see you there. If not, good luck in the keys... it's gonna blow!

Kent, will for sure to try and make it. We need to do a wake night at the shop, lets get it going. Plenty of kiters now into wake, the summer time fun.

Jay,

I hear a ton of Tampa/St. Pete folks are doing the drive. I'm gonna try. Looks like an event that shouldn't be missed.

Which one of those Slingshot Kites is closest to a Cabrinha Switchblade III. Cabrinha stopped making a 16M for us big guys.

Try the 15m Octane, where are you going to be? Think along the East coast the wind is going to be too strong for that kite.

I live in Sarasota so Skyway or East Beach will be in effect with these east winds. I have 14M, 12M, and 10M for heavier winds, but use my 16M the most. I wiegh 235 lbs. I am just concerned I will not be able to find a kite with the SBIII characterisitics at season's end when my 2008 kite will have been through three solid seasons.

I started on a T2, but it is not a SBIII.
