Hi,
For Riders interested in starting a professional career in their sport, start a school, ride and teach worldwide, or just boost their knowledge in kitesurfing, Miamikiteboarding will be running 2 IKO Instructor Courses in 2009:
October 21st to 25th
December 9th to 13th
Location : Crandon park, Key Biscayne, Miami , fl.
CONTENTS of the Course :
It's an intense 5-days course covering all the fields you will need to improve for performing confidently and safely as a kiteboarding instructor :
- Equipment Technical review and fine tuning
- Aerodynamics
- Safety guidelines & procedures
- Meteorology/ Oceanology
- Communication skills
- Teaching psychology
- Complete Lesson Plan reviews
- Boat teaching procedures
- Live teaching situation for the last 2 days .

- Additionnally IKO offers a Professional Kitesurfing Liabilibity Insurance valid Worldwide INCLUDING USA/Canada, for Instructors and Schools who need proper Insurance coverage to teach and obtain the permits usually required to operate legally .
ITC FEES
Cost of the ITC is $790 which includes 2 years of IKO membership and all the materials for the Course.
