Has anyone used Smyrna National Park (west side) inside Ponce Inlet on a west wind. If so how is it?

Never myself, the furtherest north I've traveled to ride west winds was Sebastian which works well. As I recall, upwind across the ICW there are mainly trees and not a lot of buildings. The fetch is pretty small at about 3300 ft. along the line shown below. Hopefully land wind shadow rotor resulting in excessively gusty and lull prone wind won't be that bad. Maybe go down and do a wind check? I would watch the tide to avoid getting vacuumed out. Also, you might be able to add some mph to the windspeed on an incoming tide perhaps. I know there is a regular crew up that way, they don't come on here much unfortunately. The ICW is massive at points in NE Florida, around 3 miles of fetch or so. So you have other options in that part of the state if Ponce is too uneven.
