"Hello Paddlers,
The 2009 Waterman's Challenge Paddleboard Race and King/Queen of the Beach is scheduled for Saturday, June 6. This will be a 3 mile race, not 2 miles as stated on the entry form. It will be held at the Holiday Inn, Cocoa Beach. The entry form can be found on the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum website (http://www.cocoabeachsurfmuseum.org/pdf1/wc09entry2.pdf).
Beach sign up starts at 7:30am, with the race beginning at 8:30am. King/Queen of the Beach will start shortly after the finish of the race.
Please consider staying for the weekend. This is a fun family weekend with plenty of events to keep the kids entertained. Saturday night is our Luau with entertainment, food and beverages for the grown-ups as well as the kids.
