I am looking to fix a Powerdrive 121 bar. I have the older model where the chicken loop goes thought a metal ring in the bar. The metal ring in the bar corroded and I am trying to figure out how to get a replacement. Since its an older bar I have had little luck finding a replacement.

Does anyone have an old bar lying around or can someone point me in the right direction where to get replacement parts. Thanks!!

My buddy has a Cab bar for sale. It has everything but the lines. I think he only wants like 30 bucks for it. Let me get a picture of the bar and see if it is the same as yours.

hey i just fixed my corroded middle metal ring. if you had the same problem as me...all you have to do is unscrew the old screws, knock the old metal insert (the one still in your bar) out and get the screws out with some pliers. then go to your local ace hardware (lowes and HD dont have the exact screws you need, you want stainless btw) and get the 2 new screws and put your bar back together. i fixed mine 2 weeks ago for 39 cents. good luck- Ross

The screws corroded inside the bar on mine. I ended up just using a two part epoxy to put the piece back on.

Here are the pictures. i was thinking of fixing with Epoxy but I rather do a clean fix if possible. If someone has the spare bar or part (the metal ring for the chickenloop) I would rather get that .... let me know ... and THANKS!!!!

Ross the problem that I have is that one screw corroded inside and the head broke so I can't get it out .... that is why I am looking for a replacement

Can't you drill out the corroded screw and then replace with a new stainless steel screw? I've seen this done on 121 bars before! Hope that helps! I am about to do the same.

That is what I am about to try before I go down the epoxy route. The problem I see is that I can only access the screw from the top so I am not sure how I am going to "drill out" the scew without damaging the thread.

What are you thinking of doing to get around this???
