yesterday at oldfort bay gusting 35+ knots balloonboy took on Wilma windsurfing, conditions were too rough and gusty and he had to come back in...good short show of talent for the sandblasted spectators (me & Teo) Out of desperation to get in the water we launched a 4m foil which was impossible to hold on to (lifting both of us!).

Typical hurricane shite. Too gusty. You rig a small sail; one minute too small, then too big.
Internet said it was 37kts but it was 40+ in gusts and less than 30 in lulls.
I still have the sand in my eyes. :roll:

That may be, but didn't see many kites out that day except for 2 homosexuals (not theres anything wrong with it) gripping on to each other whilst trying to fly a puny kite on Old Fort beach in 40+ knots.
