We will be COOKING out at East Beach this Saturday (4-4-09) at 11:00 AM and cleaning up our section of the park (East Beach). With the strong winds this past week, the garbage cans were blown over and the trash went into the mangroves across the road.
I will be bringing the trash bags and gloves, a gas grill, and shade tent.
Please bring some food for the grill if you want to eat.
Bring some shoes as we will be climbing through the mangroves to get as much trash out as possible. The last cleanup only took us about an hour, so we will have the rest of the day to cookout and chill...
The winds look pretty light for Sat. so it won't cut into everyone's water time.
We'll have trainer kites for the kids to use, and will do a self rescue demo/practice if anyone needs it.
