Any Media coverage of the TBKM race???

I watched all the news coverage yesterday... NADA.

Going out to buy some newspapers as we speak.

Just curious if anyone saw any news coverage of the race anywhere??

we sent press releases out Friday to all the local media and I spoke with Bay News 9 three times on Sunday. You should see something on Gulfster in a day or two. I'll have the pics up on my site probably wednesday.

It's pretty sad when you can have a spectical to the magnatude of what I watched at Sand Key Park Sunday morning in our community and not see a clip on the news or a photo in the paper. Shame on the local media. Not to mention the sporting side of the story, the conditions met, the number of riders participating, all made this a worth while news event in the bay area, but the shear beauty of 60 plus kites hauling the mail south out of Sand Key was front page stuff.

Thanks man, I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. I was particularly ticked off when I saw the section in the Tribune that had every runner and their time in the Gasparilla race. It was like 10 pages. And not a mention of our fundraising event.

I wasn't in this event for media coverage, it was just a GREAT NEWS STORY!
