camaraderie in the pristine waters of the Exumas. Gary Sweeting, IKO level 2 and PASA level 2 certified instructor will coach the group.
The Learn to Kiteboard Kiteventure package is $1775 and includes: lodging at the Sapphire Gardens condo, each condo has two bedrooms overlooking the harbour and transportation to and from airport and kiteboarding lessons will be provided.
Kiteboarding lessons sites are Runaway Bay and Crystal Kiteventure area in knee to waist deep, crystal clear water with sandy bottoms. Lessons include Caution and Slingshot kiteboarding gear, helmets and impact harnesses. The beginner student goal will be to achieve IKO intermediate level 2i kiteboarding certification. The intermediate student goal will be to achieve IKO intermediate level 3k kiteboarding certification. Lessons will be held over three to five days (based on the forecast) and include: 1hr theory lesson, 2-3hrs power kite land lesson, 3hr water lesson (2 students), 2hr private water lesson (1 student) and two 2hr supervised solo water sessions based on your skills progression. Intermediate level kiteboarders will have a customized lesson plan. No wind activities include: kiteboard towing (wake boarding), reef snorkeling, island hopping, hiking and relaxing.
