yes...it was a good time. the wind was really on on sat and it turned on a little later on sunday. It seemed like everyone was getting used to the obstacles again as there were some great crashes! It was great to see some new rail riders born. Chris Williams finnaly charged the kicker (and did really good - unhooked). Ray Leroy cased the rail pretty good on his first attempt and I have a nice brusie on my bum too. Bobby Singleton destroyed the rail as always...good to have him back in town. Tommy Fields is killing the freestyle down here sticking lots of hp tricks and upping the bar for the rest of us. The obstacles are built really solid now...the kicker (as many of you remember) used to be a real booter, kind of like hitting a wall - so we extended it and flatened it so you don't have to speed check it before you hit it. The dinosuar is heavier so even as a floater it feels like you are hitting a grounded rail. We didn't put it out sunday because the wind stayed a little north until later when a massive pack of kiters did the famous 10 mile downwnd run to annes beach.

It was really good to see a bunch of new faces come down from all over sofla and meet so many "new" kiters. It is nice to share the stoke with this new generation of kiters and it's encouraging for the continued growth of the sport. and Rick, is there an easy new way to post pics or? still the same upload to another site etc... do you have an instructional post on that?

Our next obstacle is currently under construction...if anyone is interested in helping out or seeing how these things are built, give us a call and come on down!

Glad it was a good time. Seems like the wind is back in earnest. Embedding photos is easy and detailed at:
