Not too many snowkiters wear kite leash! Not sure why you would want to add the (freezing) water element to snowkiting. Orthopedic surgeon must love snowkiters. :o

I have yet to try it despite carting kite gear up to the alpine ski areas years back several times. Didn't seem like a good place or time to try to figure it out. They do seem to get beat up quite a lot though. Good point about the leash possible convenience but at a steep price, too steep it seems.
