Florida->Charleston->Hatteras (end of July)

I'm thinking about driving-up to Hatteras N.C. (from Central FL).

I have 9 days off (July 26th - Aug 3rd)

Might consider stopping in Charleston, S.C. ,
to check-out Adam's new & expanded store, (Air & Earth (http://catchsomeair.us/contact.shtml)) get in some kiting, etc.

Have yet to decide on lodging...

Definetly a good place to ride in Charleston, its known as a drinking town with a historic problem. The Sea Breeze kicks in like clock work there. Start setting up at 12:30 and by 1:00 it will be kicking. Tell Adam I said hi.

I'm thinking about heading-out, this Saturday or Sunday.

If the wind looks promising in Hatteras, I'd just as soon rent a place
to crash with some fellow kiters for a week.

If no takers, I may just camp at a State Park on the cheap,
as suggested in some of the kiteforums out there.

If not Hatteras immediately, perhaps Islamorada, FL (Sat/Sun/Mon?)

then head for Hatteras Tuesday or Wednesday thru Sunday.

Anyone else have any similar intentions?
