There's at least 7 from the ASF group, let me know if you need us to bring anything. We still have cups and plates, etc. from the last cookout.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

I had a couple places sponsor the event, feeding us and the children. There is going to be great food from Shaners meat market, Under Tow, and Passagrilles Wharf. There will be burgers and dogs and salad, if you want to bring your own stuff to throw on the grill you are more than welcome to.

If you want to bring the paper plates and plastic knives and forks that would be great Steve.

If you have any trouble finding the house just call me on the cell and I will help you out. 727 564 8609 I live on the water so you can also get there by boat.

Thanks

Mike,

Count me in for the Stand Up Paddle Boards on the day of the event. I will provide the boards and also help the kids with them.

I will not be able to make the barbecue however. :(

Great meeting! Mike did a great job of gathering the volunteers and laying out the days events. There were at least 30 volunteers at the meeting, including Suncoast Surfrider chapter, North Beach Windsurfing, several lifeguards and more.

We're expecting 85 kids and 45 staff from The Children's home.
Probably 40 volunteers will be there also, so it should be a great day for the kids. (170-200 total in attendance)
We have shelter #1 which is closest to North Beach and the entire tip of North Beach, including the lagoon.( reminder: the lagoon is off limits for kiteboarding year round)
There's going to be plenty of watersports for the kids to try out, please bring surfboards, skim, bodyboards, SUP's, and SHADE!

This day is for the kids to have fun and learn a little about the environment. The day will end with a beach cleanup and cool prizes for the kids. If you would like to make a tax deductable donation to The Children's Home or volunteer for this event, please contact Mike Hall or myself for more info.
