Kinda Bummed, Kinda Happy... end of an era... sold my windsurfin' gear today.

I windsurfed for 14 years. Had more fun than ever before in my life. Pushed my body and soul further than I thought possible.

In May 2007, I took my kitesurfin' lessons. (THANKS STEVE-O!)

14 months later, still haven't had even the SLIGHT bit of interest in taking out the pole-boarder.

So I made the last & final commitment to kiting today. Sold all my windsurfin' gear.

I'm kinda bummed... kinda happy...

Know what I mean??

I don't have any windsurfin' friends anymore! (well there is just ONE...)

But I do have a whole new bunch of kitesurfin' friends! What a great group!

fwiw, I respect wind surfing. I find it waaay more difficult than kiting. Although I find kiting more fun for a different reason (the flying part).

Just wanted to throw that out there.
