kiteboarding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

I'm taking a trip to Cabo San Lucas Mexico in the middle of July, my question is, is it worth taking all my gear this time of year? i'd love to be able to kite while i'm there, but if its not worth it dont want to bring all my gear. Any information is greatly appreciated.
