Leave it to local government to further burden the working class ...
They announced they will start charging for parking at all county parking/access areas which basically is every where along the coast in Sarasota County (Venice to Sarasota)
I am hoping all our local crew start calling and raising hell like I will
They are "talking" about $2 an hour - what BS

Yeah that blows. That has been a trend all over Florida unfortunately. I still can't believe that there is 3 miles of beach here in Indian Rocks that still has free parking....limited but still free. Parking SUCKS!!!

that sucks...
when i ride at redington beach access and at pass-a-grille i don't ever pay, and they NEVER ticket me. not once. and I've parked there soo many times.
i did get a ticket once tho for parking at the park down the street when i wasn't at the park. lol
but i never pay meters.. never get tickets either.

I never pay out at PaG either. I get a ticket every once in awhile, but if it's only once every 4 times out, it's cheaper to pay the ticket than the meter.
It's more like once every ten... so I don't pay.
