Got an email back from Ronnie Duncan, of Pinellas County.
"I have personally reviewed the design of the bridge and I am pleased to tell you that there will be contiguous access to the south side of the bridge, via one of the parking areas under one of the spans. Given the land area that we had to work with, it was impossible to accomodate vehicular access of any type where it currently sits today on the south side of the bridge.
Thank you for your input and interest in Pinellas County."
Can't duplicate the sound of a rasberry in type, but, you get the idea.
