I have spent my whole life on the ocean. Since I was younger I have been diving in the ocean and sailing the seas. I was in the USCG and have seen a lot of trash in our waterways. I have always done my part and picked up any trash that I can find in the water. When I saw this I knew that I need to open others eyes on what are plastic trash is doing to our ocean. I know that this has made me change some of the things that I do in my life. There is an island of trash the size of Texas floating around in the Pacific Ocean.
