TBKA Board Membership Meeting

Thank you, everyone, for your continued interest and support in the Tampa Bay Kite Boarding Association. Sunday evenings meeting goals have been accomplished and a four person Board of Directors was established. In the future, we hope to elicit a response from the general membership of those people who would like to hold regional advisory positions. We are moving forward with creating our association constitution, by-laws, and general membership meeting structure. It has been agreed upon that a widely used parliamentary structure will be the most effective way for all members to address agenda topics, board members, etc.. as commonly adopted in local government meetings.

We are looking forward to our next general membership meeting which will be held Sunday April 27th at a location to be determined. Your patience is greatly appreciated and valued, as we make the necessary steps in creating a legitimate and credible association for organized activism. This is an exciting time and we are all passionate about our sport, our kiting community and the people who help secure the safety and access to the beaches and spots we have the privilege to ride. We have a tremendous amount of fun ideas for community activities as well as kiter bonding in the pipe line!
