I'm looking at replacing a bunch of lines and wanted to get some input on the Q-Lines from everyone, as I've seen and heard good things. I've been using Ozone replacements for the last couple years but I have a feeling the Q-lines are better.
So it looks like there's 3 types: the basic Q-Line, the Q-Powerline, and the Q-Powerline PRO.
What do people reccommend?

Cheers,

Chris

I use Q line. Mainly because I still have some left after buying a ton of it a few years ago (like 5 spools).
It's hard to beat the Ozone or Flexi pre-packed stuff. I think both are rated at 660 plus. Flexi has a 20, 5 extension package.

A Q line spool is cool if you fix bridles a lot and stuff like that. I originally got into it when flying the foils and routinely replacing bridles.
In terms of just replacing flying lines, it's more user friendly to go pre packed with great company line like O and F, in my opinion.

Yeah, I am working on a project I prefer to not work on and the distraction is good.

That Q line has several drawbacks. One being unwinding the lines. They are so "sticky stiff", it's a pain. You also have to cut them to exactly the right size.

Those Flexi and Ozone lines are so good they should last quite a while.
I would just do that. The Flexi 5m extensions dealio is pretty good for some people.

You want Q-LINE, you do not want the q-line pro. Not sure about q-power but I think it's the same a q-line... you'll know if you have the right stuff...it's a stiff as 12 gauge stranded wire and usually yellow or orange.

I buy yellow, and then use rit dye to color the two back lines red or blue (which makes them orange or green).

One of the developers of Q-line squashes some of the myths about Q-Line and gives some facts in a kind of question and answer format. Should help you answer your question.
