I wanted to get a petition to get kitesurfing open at a spot near Boston, MA, USA. Anybody have some good wording to put on it? Or what a petition is suppose to look like?

Often the text of petitions is fairly short. For this kind of application a petition would normally include language that states the signer supports kiteboarding as a good non-polluting activity to watch, participate in, good for local business, etc. Think up the positives particularly those that you think the authorities would like to see and that signers would support and put them down. You could get in touch with the guys at: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/tikakiteboarding/?yguid=71387343

The Tybee Island Association in Georga to see what sort of petition they used.

Also, if you google "kitesurf petition" you will find quite a few petitions used in other countries. Will may need to use the translation function in google of course.

Good luck,
