Coming to Clearwater in MAy

Hey there,

I'm up in Ottawa, Canada - I'm new to kiting this winter so I've only been out a couple times on land, never in the water.

I'm coming to clearwater beach about 1/2 mile up from dntown clearwater.

I'd like to hook up with someone the week while im there, Possibly to take some lessons. By then I hope to be pretty proficient with flying my kite(s) but will have never been on water.

Who's around, is there a good group in north clearwater, and where would i start? I might want an afternoon of lessons to get comfy on water... hopefully that should do it...

We have a TON of area instructors who would be more than happy to help you. Look up the handles kite-4-life, Steve-O, Triton Kiteboarding, and (can anyone help me with this one) Best kitebording center or something like that. All of these members can help you out with lessons. Just make sure you take lessons before trying a go at it on your own...too much you need to know.
