Yesterday we sent e-mails to everyone to watch the wind for Saturday 19th January

Today as of 1-16-08 at 7.00pm the wind is still a little confusing but for now at least they are showing the right direction
Accu weather and weather underground also, they are both saying the same
Winds: NNW at 15mph ,,Wind Gusts: 30 mph ,,Max UV Index: Moderate (3) ,,Thunderstorm Probability: 6% ‘’Amount of Precipitation: 0.04in ‘’Amount of Rain: 0.04in ‘’’Amount of Snow: 0.0in ‘’’Hours of Precipitation: 2 Hrs ‘’’Hours of Rain: 2 Hrs ‘’Hours of Daylight: 10.7 Hrs

If the weather stays the same from now until the weekend we will have the race Saturday( MORNING OR NOON), we will post again 48 THURSDAY hour notice

Stoked to hear we FINALLY have the elements working for us. Seems this weekend will be a true test of our abilities and stamina. You've done a great job keeping us informed and keeping this event organized. Thanks for the update and I look forward to participating in the event! Not to mention the after party... :-)

If the wind is SOUTH or SW all day 13 + THE RACE IS STILL ON BUT FROM NAPLES TO FORT MYERS (INSTEAD OF FT MYERS TO NAPLES)

If the weather stays the same from now until the weekend we will have the race Saturday (MORNING OR NOON), we will post again 24 hour notice

TONIGHT WE WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE DETAILS ABOUT THE RACE, WHERE, WHEN, WHAT TIME EVERYTHING SO PLEASE KEEP CHECKING THIS POST

Saturday 19 race day from 7am to 8:30 am, registration

8:30am to 9:00am on Saturday19 get ready

9:00am, red flag several blasts go to the water (tackle back and forth) or stay on the beach, your choice, 5minutes to 10 minutes
Yellow flag 2 blasts (horn) get ready to go 2 to 3 minutes
Green flag 1 long blast go go go go go
Imaginary line to start, 17th ave south, early starters will be disqualified (camera on the pier)

Registration 7:00am to 8:30am
All riders need to pick up their shirt all riders have a number on the shirt no shirt no race.

The after party and prize giving will still be at wahoo’s naples free food for all riders
