anyone looking at the long range forecast for Saturday. it looks like we could have a good window for the race. ENE at 17 or so... What's it look like to you Neil?

"Hi all,

Hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We are now officially back in the holding pattern for this years Jupiter to Ft. Lauderdale race. As you can feel a strong front has moved through and we are hoping that the wind will stay with us for the weekend. Right now most reports are saying there will be wind in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday but maybe to light in Jupiter. Right now lets consider this as a 72 hr notice to race but keep your eyes on your e-mail for any changes.
We need some north in the wind also. Just before Christmas we had an East wind in Jupiter and it was decided that this direction would not be appropriate for the beginning part of the race.
There are still some people who have not completed all paperwork, if you are planning to race I need this in, it will NOT be accepted the day of the race. The checkpoint needs an accurate list of riders.
Keep checking the FKSA.ORG and become familiar with the starting procedures, checkpoint and finish line.
