"20 Foot Winds"????

Didn't know they measured winds by feet. Huh?

?? Beats me.
Maybe they have a tower up in a forest, at 20 feet, and measure winds there?
The winds at 20 feet would be less than 100 feet up, especially if within the canopy of trees.
I imagine winds at 20 feet are a lot less than the clean unobstructed winds at 100 feet up.
Then again, maybe the typist of the report was just wasted.

Looks like the work of Al-Kite-Ah, sabotaging the infidels forecasting center.
Or, the NWS team is drinking on the job again...........:p

So, do 20 foot winds produce seas gusting 4-6 knots????
I am SOOOO lost here......

Wasn't it around this time last year (maybe January) when those fires in Ga. were occurring and we had smoke all the way down here when the wind was from the North?

I remember riding one day at the Undertow and choking on the smoke it was so bad.

More importantly, does this mean we will have some rideable wind? If we shorten our line lengths?

You sure that wasn't "Northern Lights" you were choking on..?? <*cough*>

j/k

I moved here in April and remember it raining ash...

I've been watching Extreme's video of the motorized cooler... I HAVE TO HAVE ONE... you think you'd get a DUI riding the cooler down the street?

Probably.

That thing works awesome on the compact sands of St. Augustine beach or Daytona bch.
Wouldn't work so well on our beach.
It was originally invented (my understanding) for the waterboys to bring out gatorade to players during games and then evolved from there into basically a beer cooler on wheels.
