Guess it's coming up on that time of year again. Time for another TampaBay KiteMasters.

This year is going to be another two part series similar to the first year. Both events will take place after the start of 2008. They will probably be in late January or February.

One of the events will be another 20-30 mile downwind race. Chris Moore has graciously offered to manage this event. He will be deciding the race course and selecting his race committee.

The other event will be a 500 meter speed run. The event will be run by myself, a race committee, and volunteers. This contest will be held in a single location (most likely North Skyway).

The downwind race will be held when winds are expected to be 15-25 knots.
The speed trials will be held in 20-35 knots.

If you are interested in helping in either event please PM Chris or myself directly. As always SPONSORS are also needed.

I am hoping to have the Pre-Party at my house, dependent on completion of ongoing construction.

Hey Kent, how's been?
The race is tenatively set for early to mid January 2008.
Under my direction, Chris Moore will be doing much of the coordinating this year..... Wives and Baby Jay's take alot of attention.
Chris is in Vegas this week but upon his return we will be meeting to get everything in order.
I hope to have a "step up" or "high bar" comp the day before (or after)the race.
