If anyone is in the area of destin and wants to stop by, we're staying by papano joes restaurant on the beach. Drop us an email if you live around there and plan on kiting.

There are a few riding spots in Destin and near Destin. Lee Side Park, which is west of Destin and on Okaloosa Island is Bay side riding and flat water. This site is best on North winds. Just across the street on the Gulf side is a great launch spot with a small amount of parking for onshore conditions from the South or South East or South West. This time of year is mostly Gulf side riding.
In Destin, there is a State Park across the Street from Wal-Mart that has plenty of room to fly.
Local shops are Liquid Surf and Sail and Sea and Sky.
Don't for get about Panama City Beach.....about 40 miles to the East and plenty of launch spots. Check
www.pcbkitesurf.com
for launch sites and more info.
We have had several days of wave riding and Firday and Saturday look good.

Thanks for your advice! We hope to see some of the florida crew. :) We'll keep our eyes peeled for kites in the sky for sure :)

We won't be in town until sat afternoon though...

Thanks!
