Jacque Cousteau's grandson Fabian has fabricated a new project for diving, a self-propelled shark shaped submersible!? It was apparently in part inspired by a children's story about Tintin and perhaps a particularly good cognac or two! This toothy puppy is high tech, amored to try to protect against shark attack as Fabien says "he may do something to piss the white sharks off!" It even has digital video cameras for eyes, somethinig all divers will want for next Christmas.

Watch that dentition finish work, sharks are very discerning judges of teeth. Then again, they have poor eye sight. I wonder what natural sharks other sensory perceptions would make of this swimming electric elasmobranch? Does it smell like a shark?

For an interview and VIDEO with underwater footage of the shark in motion CLICK HERE, apologies for the robot war commercial that comes first! (http://www.g4tv.com/mediaplayer/index.aspx?video_key=7683)
