Come help celebrate International Surfing Day,
Saturday, June 23rd at Suncoast Surf Shop on Treasure Island, Pinellas County, Just north of the Sunshine Skyway bridge and St. Pete on the Gulf Beaches.

We are going to start off the day @ 8:00am with a FREE Breakfast sponsored by Steve Willis of MaxWax. We're not just talking DONUTS here! Steve has brought the goods the last two years. We will depart the surf shop around 9:00am and head to Sunset Beach for a beach clean-up. Everything will be provided to help clean up one of our popular surf breaks.

After the clean-up, we will have a product toss from Alpine Stars, Anarchy, Arnette, Billabong, Cobian, Dragon, Fox, Freestyle, FCS, Lost, OAM, O'Neill, Quiksilver, Rainbow Sandals, Reef, Rip Curl, Sanuk, Sector 9, Smith, Spy, Volcom and X-Trak..

That's not all…. Afterwards back at the Shop Suncoast Surf Shop & Quiksilver presents MEET THE SHAPERS! from 12:00pm to 4:00pm Suncoast Surf Shop along with Quiksilver invites you to come meet some of the top shapers in the State of Florida. Come and meet Matt Kechele, surfing aerial pioneer, shaper and 3-Time Gold Medal X-Games winning coach. Joining Matt will be A.J. Finin of Cannibal Surfboards and Craig Cronin of Cronin Surfboards along with local shaper Bob Bulatowiz. And also Brian Tuder from Bat Surfboards! This is your chance to talk to some of the best shapers in the U.S. They'll be happy to answer any questions about surfboard designs and the newest technologies that are coming out. And come hungry…we'll be serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and water! We'll also have cool gear to throw out during the day. Parking for these events will be in the empty lot behind Suncoast Surf Shop. For more info call 727.367.2483 or email Barry_Morse@hotmail.com.

Also Matt and boys from Triton Kiteboarding will be giving instructions and demos on paddleboards and kiteboarding. If you ever wanted to try a paddleboard out this is your chance. They'll be providing stand-up
paddleboards, Trainer Kites, Bow/C-Style kites for demo or ground schools, and they will bring out all instructional info and everything you need to know about getting into these sports.
There will also be all day demos on Slingshots new Turbo Diesel II's, these kites are sick so pray for wind and come check 'em out.

Come check out this event guys, no better way to bridge the gaps between kiters, surfers, and skimmers than chill at the beach, check out eachothers sport and finish the day with some icey brews and some chill tunes. If any out of towners want to post up in tampa give me a buzz and we'll be happy to hook it up with accomodations.
