hey guys i will be heading that way from st.pete for vacation from 5/15-5/25. Will be staying in seaside, and just wondering how the wind is looking and where some spots to ride will be. Looking forwad to meeting some new kiters. thanks for any tips.

Pray for seabreeze. Any E, S, or W wind (usually SW in the afternoon), you will be able to kite in the gulf. It is very pretty this time of year, but we rely on the thermals for any decent wind, as the fronts are over. You know about this, coming from St. Pete. Anyway, you will have a lot to do in Seaside and Destin. I live in Panama City, and several kiters are here and to the West in Fort Walton Beach.
