I found another version of paddle sport.

Although a paddleboard does get pricey just for kneeling/laying.
I’m sure you can do the same with the stand-up board. Maybe??

Another “Island Style” sport is Outrigger Canoeing. Close to home the
Kana Lui Outrigger Canoe Club is based on the Rickenbacker Causeway by the old Miami Marine Stadium and there is a another club in Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Check out the link: www.kanaluimiami.com

Seems to be a lot to do after the wind is gone. Adventure Sports needs to get on this stuff!

Yes, there certainly a lot of variations out there. Thanks for putting up the links. I see these guys hauling boards around at times but haven't seen them in the water all that much. I noticed in the gallery for the 2007 Florida Championship, there are some guys doing standup. Reminds me of the Molokai Challenge in that way.
