I arrive at Matheson Hammock around 2:30 P.M. and I notice that the wind is somewhat light;ranging from 12-14knts. I notice that I was the only person in the water, very surprised.
I went out there with my 13 and I was underpowered. It was alright at first. Past the flags, I was WAY overpowered. You could say that today was VERY gusty(around 25-27 knts).
Unfortunately, the gusts were short-lived to a complete stop around 4:00.
Low tide started kicking in and I didnt want to mess with the local birds looking for some bait. I gave them their space.
All in all, it was an interesting day. I did manage a 15 footer jump!
next week looks good.
