View Full Version : Bladder Valve Repair
I've got a leak in a strut bladder where the valve attaches to the bladder. It appears that it was not heat fused to the bladder very well. I plan to use Pattex glue to glue the valve back down to the bladder. Is this acceptable or is there a better way? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jake

Check out "Airtime" U-stick replacement valves either thru there website or your local Kiteboarding shop

They are the Ideal replacments, ALL of my Naish X3 valve stems leaked and were replaced by these. Worked great
Thanks! I had forgotten about the U-Stick valves. I'll have to use them next time. This time I used some Pattex glue to glue the old valve back on the bladder. I got worried when I first put the glue on the bladder as it wrinkled it some but smoothed out later when it dried. The valve adhered to the bladder very well. I have yet to pressure test it as I wanted let it sit overnight.
