Spanish wells

I was totally right when I made a little you tube clip a year ago on Spanish wells.
The place is rideable from westerly to Easterly. @ low water there is 2 feet at high 5 feet.
ENE is on shore East side on shore .
The place was rad..And yes it was a little quirky there was a few days when I opted to put my van on the little ferry to save on luggen gear by hand, I got down to the beach on 14th st and set up, I was just about to start teaching when out of nowhere a little stought dude came out of the bushes and said with out a smile on his face “are you thinking of squatting here”
I had a laugh but was as respectful as I could be and put the old fella straight..
Stacey from best came down to give me a hand and to ride.
We stayed at pineapple fields in Goveners harbor and drove down everyday to ride this sick spot..(lots of driving but totally worth it)
bellow is a link of a little clip I did for the trip, check it out .

Hey A.J.,

Thanks for putting the clip together. Makes you feel like you are there, artfully put together. Haven't made SW yet, have more reasons now!

it was a working trip for me, but I got to ride a bit, seariously the place is one of the best places to ride.I don't know any beach that you can ride from West to east mabe even SE...I'm so stoked on this spot.
I have to go back on the 17th to teach again for 2 days stacey from Best is an awsome instructor and a rad dedicated kiteboarder, she recons that Spanish Wells is just as good as those lagoons in Brasil.
anyways I don't want to pimp the place to much but I'm stoked to share the spot with this forum.
I'll be running more trips up there for sure.

Hey A.J.,

What is the best wave spot that you or anyone else on here has come across in the Bahamas?

We've got a really good surfing spot here (not kiting) and we've also got some good kiting/wave spots here too. (Exuma)

Surfers Beach in Eleuthera is a nice wave spot. The wind must be perfect though, I reckon that it's rideable in off-shore wind because the beach it's kinda secluded. Love Beach here in Nassau has the best break but it's hard to get the perfect conditions for a nice wave ride.

Check this web page out, it's got Surfers Beach and other couple of places in the Bahamas:

beach bum and mateo have got it GT exuma and eluthera surfers beach..but allso in abaco there is some seldom surfed waves.
we have a good spot here to but the stars have to be in the right spot befre waves pick up...we need west winds and the swell to make it through inbetween abaco and eluthera and then we get waves that you need to get towed into.
for kiteboarding on those waves it's a side shore wind.

just got back from a daytrip in Spanish Wells. The beach is awesome, nice and flat water for miles, the wind was strong (20k+) and had a great time with AJ.

Love the outislands feeling and love riding there, no one on the beach, lots of space to land and launch, fine sand and shallow, super shallow water. Can't beat that.

Photos and footage will come soon.....
