hi guys,

I'm here in Florida, Lake Worth, but it seems that we're getting SW and then W and then NW winds and really don't know where locals head to with those winds (in east coast), so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks and good winds!

Out of town. The local launches really aren't that good or safe with westerly winds for kiting. The best bet would be to take a boat to the Miami Flats for closeness and general conditions. Otherwise do a road trip to Marco Island or Naples or further north to Sanibel. All these spots are described in the second and third posts at:

you might be able to ride the jupiter sand bar on a west wind, or maybe the north side of peanut island. Its pretty tight in there but maybe. your other options are road trips. west coat, keys, miami-flats.
