Thanks for being cool about it. Hope you know I was not trying to be an a**hole.. I just saw you fail to launch twice in a row and I could tell you were not comfortable and needed some practice.

You were right on the most northern tip of the beach upwind of everyone and if you had lost control you would have been dragged through kites and cars.

Appreciate you understanding my concerns and putting your kite down.

Lots of new riders at the Skyway yesterday. LOTS of them. Most all were doing their best to allow space.. Many need to learn to keep their kites low if someone is passing upwind. Some were doing the best thing and walking out and up the sandbar before launching. One guy looked to be having an issue relaunching a Waroo and was creeping very close to the downwind rocks.. he relaunched and was able to get to the lowest beach access and walk back up.. probably only 2 minutes away from ending up on the rocks. Saw him a while later WAY upwind .. :) lesson learned.

Again.. to the new riders.. Allow lots of space and be very mindful of those around you. Many were transitioning without looking..

Bryan did a good job keeping our beach open and safe- skyway is a tight spot and has many hazards

Only by this kind of intervention can we try to minimize the risks for everyone

Bryan gave me the heads up of who was who when I launched which was a big help as to who needed more distance

I saw one kite far north of north skyway above the bridge

looks like good flat water but no launch area

anyone know more?
