Snow? Well we can but hope, where it should be of course.

Locally, I haven't heard of anything. Hopefully mother nature will cater some good wind. Maybe do a road tour of launches. More on that idea at:

Hey, how about a "Kite For Tots" event or something? An impromptu, casual unsponsored Charity Ride?

I spoke to Kent about the Kite For Tots idea. He likes it and says he'll be willing to organize something down in Miami. Say a downwinder from Crandon to Matheson Hammock maybe even via Stiltsville or something. Kent feels he can drum up a couple of chase boats. All riders need to bring toys that will be donated to a worthy charity. We could shoot for December 23 or for better odds of wind, how about December 16, 17 or 23? Kent has done the run lots of times and says it is doable with north to east winds. We can do a wrap party somewhere, make a day of it.

What do you folks think and who's in?

Raul and I can go if the 23rd or the 16th. 23rd is best for us but maybe cutting it close for toys making it onto Santa's Sleigh

It sounds like the weekend of the 16th, this coming Saturday and Sunday may work out the best for some folks. So, how about if we target Saturday as the primary day with Sunday, 12.17.06 as a backup?

Any ideas for a wrap party location after?

Hey Kent, what do you think? Do you think we could mess around in Stiltsville on the way over to Matheson? I hope you are OK. Kent came in a close fourth on the run from Jupiter. Not having had enough, he set out for another 30 mile run back to Miami. That would round things out at around 90 miles in one day. I thought about trying to make the additional run as well but had to go to the company Xmas party instead. Looking forward to hearing about it.
