I wouldn't call 5ft huge, but damn! I dont know what the hell an F16 to flat 3 is but that looks like what I've been working on but haven't been able to catch right conditions to get it dialed in. It's either blowing 20-25 or 10-12, or it's dark. Basically a backroll kiteloop with a another spin and handlepass at the end is what I call it. What is an F16 and what is a Flat 3?

Whatever the heck it's called, nice work. I still can't do it, so I am joining the hater club with E-Bone.

and compared to how high i see most people do thoes that was pretty big.

Ok, spent the morning learning F16s!

Unfortunately my dreams were crushed when I tried to do them high enough to add the Flat 3.... wow... not gonna happen today. I'm just not good enough yet. You are right and I was way wrong... 5ft seems pretty hard for an F16 at the moment.

You guys are killing me!

yeah the f16 to flat 3 should have a warning label, its an extremely technical trick. you should be proficient at powered kiteloops and handle passes, and trick like l3's and 313's. I got worked 2day trying to land this trick. Its not a normal crash either, you are generally twice as high and goin twice as fast as norm. handlepasses. roy lands them all the time, and ebone does them but with 2 loops, ask those dudes for pointers. ive seen toby do an f16 to flat 7, its all about the balls baby!

Yeah, if you have seen me out there lately then you know how extremely technical my tricks are getting. Any time you want some tips, I would be more than happy to go over them with you Tom.

Oh yeah I land the F8 to the F25 then a triple H20 double back spin all the time.........HA.....

Yeah right, if you want to know how to go up big, crash on the water, skip across like a rock while your kite loops 10 times dragging you 200 yards across a sandbar, let me know. I have that trick down! Trust me Alex has seen me bust out that trick a few times!

Josh, I would be more than happy to help you out with some new tricks. My only hesitation is that I am not sure that you are as advanced of a rider as you need to be in order to learn my killer moves. They are dangerous and should only be attempted by professionals such as myself. Maybe we can start with an in-depth rider evaluation so I can see if you are ready for the big time...

Well, unhooked didn't seem nearly has bad as hooked in F16s (is it still called an F16 if you're hooked in?) and those are pretty easy but you cant just let go of the bar when things go wrong.

hey tom, next time your out, try an F-16 by looping the kite low, as in start looping the kite before you actually leave the water... much harder and crazier then looping after you jump.... the pull is twice as hard and horizontal as oppossed to vertical..... and it will hurt even if you let go of the bar, trust me

The F16s I have been doing, I do not jump first... I just loop it and pop a little when it starts the down part of the loop.

To me it seemed like the higher hooked in ones hurt more than the lower unhooked ones because you loop with more energy and go

Honestly I am just trying to keep up with these young guys who are ripping it up.

I need to figure out that crazy handlepass that Josh is doing in that video. What is that called anyway? It looks sick!

Kev where the heck have you been? Gotten out much?

I work everyday but Monday and Wednesday. noon til 10.

Monday and Wednesday I have class, although I'll leave early when there's signs of wind.

Haven't gotten much riding time in, last time I got to go was about a week before the kiterace I believe.
