Did anyone here about that guy in Australia who was kiting in some massive waves and saved some trapped tow-in surfers from being pulverized between rocks and huge waves? They ran out of gas on their jet ski so he went, got them gas and kited back to them with it on his back (what a guy!) The sad part is the kiter lost his board to the rocks and had to body drag back in. Everyone was alive, and that is the most important though.

If anyone has a link to the confirmed story, I'd love to see it.

Hello Lindy,

Mark Barnett is quite a kiteboarder and his story is an impressive one. I interviewed him by phone and will be writing up an illustrated story soon and will post it on this site.

Good suggestion for this Forum!

I apologize for the slow turnaround of this article. There are some images to sort out but it should be worth the wait.
