Neither really works in either SW or west winds. It is side offshore You might look into taking a boat out to the Flats. More at:

There is always Hobie Beach, but it can be a dangerous launch. If there are squalls inbound or if it is excessively gusty, blow it off.

Launch and land in the shallows with an assistant well away from shore and ride out beyond the swim buoys and stay there until time to come in.

Yea, im totally stuck right now. I dont know whether to go to Matheson, Crandon, or Hobie beach.

prob not going to make it out sunday...have my last mid term Monday morning...the idea today was to ride from 8am till like 11 so i could be at the library studying by 1pm....if i do ride Sunday its going to be also early...
