It works to some extent... may have to be SSW rather than SW. Too much West and it's no good. It might be doable though.

How about backside? I'm thinking of going after work, probably about 6:00. I've only ridden there this summer a couple times (West wind) and maybe once or twice besides that over the past few years... so I can't remember for sure if it works for SW or not. I think I'll go give it a shot though. :?:

It was SE this morning- perfect direction for East Beach- Rode for about 3 hours - Bill and Mike were out as well. Backside is better for SW.

I rode for about 40 minutes behind bongos.

My 13m has a leak though, so I put it down early and headed out.

Chris, Gary and I showed up at Upham beach around 2:00p.m. Randy was there riding his Octane 12. It was blowing nicely probably 15 knots. Water conditions as expected a little bit choppy. We got to ride for about 2.5 hours. I borrowed Gary's SS 15 Fuel, while he was testing his new 2004 Torch, which he felt in love with :wink: . Chris was riding his 15 ION. This is the first cold front in a long time. I Had a good time at the waves and to end the session in a stylish way we went to little bar in front of the beach. Whata a day!.

it was blowing 9 when i got to EB a bit after 4..

was able to launch and ride downwind on my 16waroo..
i was quite impressed even w/ that.

it dropped to 6 / 7 and it was just futile.
