Win a kitetrip to Brazil or to the Islands Flats of Key West!

The University Trier in Germany executes an independent survey about kitesurfing and tourism. The aim of it is to find out how tourism products for kitesurfers should look like and what is missing on the existing products. Beside that a second aim of it is to interrogate which brands, kitespots or websites are most known and which media do kitesurfers use most. The data will be raised anonymosly through a questionaire (also online: www.kitetourism.com or www.kitetourism.de). All participants will take part in a lottery/sweepstake where they can win attractive prizes as a kitetrip to Brazil or an camera4sports helmet-camera and more. For further information go to www.kitetourism.com. The main results will be published this winter through the same homepages and our promotion partners.

It is probably too late to consider adjusting this but your selections for kiting media, magazines and Internet sites are HEAVILY biased towards Germany. You might want to consider adding some of the many other international mags. and websites to your list to allow for a more representative sampling of international riders actual preferences.

I know that. I tried to get US or more international media partners, but as this survey is the first one they were all not interested. I hope to be able to improve that soon! Which media would you suggest?

Thanks anyway - I'm always glad to get some feedback. Just post it here!

Best regards,
Marc

Hello Marc,

Oh, I thought it was just a listing of resources not one in which the media sources had given prior agreement to participate, my mistake.

For North America the following magazines come to mind:

SBC Kiteboard
The Kiteboarder
Kiteboarding

Some of the websites include:

http://fksa.org/, naturally enough along with those listed at:
http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=590

In addition to yahoogroups, which has quite a few sites worldwide and within North America, http://groups.yahoo.com/ . The largest of these types of sites that has been around longer than most on the Internet is: http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/kitesurf/?yguid=71387343
