DP fri :)

i know there wont be much wind, but there is a slight chance, and also a chance for waves, so im taking my 14m waroo and my surf board and heading out to sunset for a DP, maybe ill get lucky

looks like this year will be the same as last, lots of solo DP's :(
better a solo ride then a no go ride :lol:

stood on the life guard tower (at NB) with my meter, 14-17 knots, small 2 occassional 3ft waves, side on wind, clear blue skies, and my 14m roo, sorry you guys missed it (i should invest in a waterproof mp3 for these solo rides)

I didnt go cause ikcantsurf said it had dropped down to 9kts by 7am


but then again it picked up at 8am :roll: :twisted: :oops: :cry:

i got to try self launching my kite by having it powered LE down and pulling on the rear lines so it flys backwards about ten feet off the ground, then release one line and it spins around perfectly
i wasnt too powered, but i did time one jump off a wave and got atleast 10 ft up and then came crashing down due to the suprise and the fact i was on a glide
i cant wait itll i can DP 3-4 days a week
