Spambots

It looks like spambots are still getting past the new text recognition, authentication patch. The systems guy that helps us out with this stuff is out of town currently. When he returns I will ask if he can upgrade the protection to exclude more of these obnoxious bots.

In the meantime, I will continue to ban the spambot IP and screen name and delete the posts as soon as I see them, usually daily. Sorry for the distraction, bots are a pain in the butt.

They are a serious pain in the butt. That one actually created a poll!!

That is a person I believe, not a bot, paid to spam.
It's sick what people do to get rankings upped. Blogging/spamming of blogs and forums is out of control.

Yow, I didn't even see that one. I just chucked three of them off at around 3 pm today too. It's like an infestation of termites.

These spambot hacker dudes are sick to be sure.
