This from kiteforum:

Hey,
while i'm in the area i hope to get some kiting in. I know the area well, but not nescessarily for kite spots. I'm tryin to head out this tuesday. looks like a south, southeast wind. What's to be had? Anything on the banana river for that direction?

thanks,
jac

The current forecast for Tuesday, still a long way off, is for easterly winds moving up to 10 to 15 kts. eventually. East is side to onshore in this area, SE is side onshore to sideshore in places if it happens. The wind seems to be too light for the inland waterway but I could be wrong. Don't go to Kelly Park to ride if you decide to ride the ICW. There may also be quite a few showers and squalls around. Watchout for the later, we have had some really violent stuff passing through at times in the last few days in the south.

As for spots, this website seems to be down but the wayback machine should still be able to get the info for you:

Don't go anywhere, within five miles of Patrick AFB on the coast as kiting has been banned there. A guys used to come on here and be proud about ignoring the authorities and even outrunning them when kiting in years past. Way to go sport, you helped to get us all kicked out.
